"Wish I could give a better review. I gave them a lot of time to make things right before writing a review. I have never had a good claim experience with State Farm. They are the highest premium pay insurance with a very low quality service. You can choose who you want for repairs is a lie. It must be the lowest bidder. When my car was in a hit and run 10 years ago they wanted to repair it when it was obviously totaled. It took several months to make a decision and then the car could not be repaired and ended up getting totaled after 6 month before they could decide. Next was my Harley. I had an accident and I was the service manager at Harley Davidson and gave them the estimate myself. They did not know I worked there and tried to total the bike claiming the estimate was over twice then what I knew I gave them. Meaning they flat out lied. Said the dealership gave them an estimate of $8,700 when I the manager gave them an estimate of $4,500. When they figured out who I was it was dead silence on the phone. Next was a house leek that they denied over the phone then sent an adjuster out months after I fixed it myself and said they see nothing wrong. Now I am in another house claim. Also a leak. This one has taken 9 months and still going. They didn’t like the contractors estimate and wanted one that was less money for them. So I had to use one of their recommended contractors. So you can choose you want is a lie. Now I’m trying to get their contractor to show and I am having difficulties. The adjuster named Angel will not answer or return phone calls. The contractor they denied could have completed this months ago. I just called the office to explain all of this and I was told to call the adjuster and I told them the adjust will not answer or call back. The contractor that you recommended has not shown up. I was told that’s my problem now. After nine months I still have a hole in my ceiling. What complete poor customer service for such a high rate premium that keeps getting raised for no reason. They say it’s inflation. They want you to pay inflation premiums but not willing to pay inflation price repairs. Meaning it’s all profit. Pat is a really good guy and that’s why I have stayed with State Farm for nearly two decades. This time I am just disappointed with all of them across the board. I just wanted my house fixed. I just want what is right a fair. That’s not State Farm anymore. They can pay an A list actor to make their commercials but can’t pay their customers. Like a good neighbor is also a lie. Sorry being told that it’s my problem now after all this time I have been courteous and polite never raising my voice and being understanding. They just shut the door in face and said your problem. Pat I am not angry but I am disappointed and I can no longer recommend anyone to sign on with State Farm."
